Suspect Named In Drive-by Shooting Death of Kenny Clutch

According to local police, Ammar Harris has been named as the primary suspect in the murder of Kenny Clutch, an up and coming rapper from Oakland, CA.

Last week on February 21, 2013, Kenny Clutch was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting that is said to have stemmed from an earlier altercation in the parking lot of a nearby hotel with someone driving a black Range Rover. At the time, no one was quite sure of what the altercation was about, but. Minutes later while clutch was riding down the strip the Black Range Rover pulled up next to him and began firing.

Clutch was killed in the barrage of gun fired and then crashed into a taxi-cab, killing the driver and the passenger inside.

Las Vegas Police now believe that the driver of that Range Rover was its owner, Ammar Harris. They found the Range Rover in a nearby apartment complex the night of the shooting, but Harris was nowhere to be found.

At this point there is a tri-state joint search in progress to track Harris, who has an extensive arrest record. The spokesperson for the Las Vegas Police Department has stated that they definitely consider Harris to be armed and dangerous.

It was initially believed that Kenny Clutch may have just found himself at the wrong place at the wrong time, but now there is speculation that the altercation may have been a part of an ongoing “Pimp” feud between the two.
