Guru Suffers Heart Attack Left In Coma

Guru of the world famous Gangstarr rap group, along with DJ Premier, suffered a massive heart attack over the weekend, leaving the rapper in a coma as a result. DJ Premier confirmed the rumors and reports on his Hip-Hop Nation radio show on Sirius Satelite Radio plus he took to his twitter account to update fans. "#guru #guru is getting ready for surgery, pray for the best!," he
wrote Monday (March 1st). " Khaleelconnect @DJPremierBlog ... Pray for Guru
yall...hope everything goes well...Guru is struggling with a serious health issue. And We appreciate all
your love and well wishes. we continue to hold out hope that Guru will
make a full recovery from this. And ask that his privacy on this matter
be respected. Again Thank you for all your support through this trying
time."
As part as Gangstarr, Guru has been on albums like "No More Mr. Nice Guy" (1989), "Step in the Arena" (1991), "Daily Operation"
(1992), "Hard to Earn" (1994), "Moment of Truth" (1998) and "The Ownerz"
(2003).
