DJ Drama & Cookin Soul Celebrate Biggie Smalls

Next Monday, March 9th 2009, will mark exactly twelve years since Notorious B.I.G. died and to mark the occation, DJ Drama will host and release a new mixtape titled "The NOTORIOUS BIG Tribute." Producers and remixers Cookin’ Soul mix the original samples used for Biggie's "Ready To Die" and "Life After Death" into new beats and feature original appearances from a large range of well known artists to pay their respects and celebrate B.I.G. In a new trailer for the mixtape, classic footage of Biggie is shown and tracks are previewed.
Artists who will be featured on the tribute include Styles P, LA the Darkman, Wilie Tha Kid, Uncle Murda, Amanda Diva, Lil’ Cease (Junior MAFIA), P. Diddy, Miss Info (Hot 97), Jean Grae, CL Smooth, Skyzoo, Grafh, Emilio Rojas, Nipsey Hussle, Tek (Smif n’ Wesson), Freekey Zekey,
Jet Ash Lag, Sen City, Shiest Bubz, De la Ghetto (Massacre Musical) and
Chaundon. The new mixtape will include 20 Brand new tracks.
