Sinnamon Love Launches “Sex Love & Hip Hop” Live Series

Posted By on March 12, 2013

Today marked the launch of the inaugural “Sex, Love, & Hip Hop” live show, hosted by radio personality and former adult film star, Sinnamon Love. Love has partnered with The High End Agency and MIST Harlem to launch what she is calling an extension of her radio show with the same name. This particular show originated as a Sex. Love and Relationship column for TheWellVersed.com. Sinnamon believes that the new TV show will present elements that the radio show and her written platforms are unable to present.

“I wanted to put together something with a live audience that was a little more intimate; I could do a one on one with the artists,” Sinnamon told HipHopDX. “I like being able to showcase the artists that other people are fans of. I like letting them talk about things that other people don’t usually get them to talk about. It gives them an opportunity to talk about things other than the music.”

Today’s show featured Jean Grae, Lola Bastadino of Playboy TV, DJ Basarro and Harlem songstress Chenzira. Sinnamon also spoke about the decision to integrate Jean Grae into the program.

“Jean is one of my best friends,” she added. “We’ve known each other for years, we love each other and she’s super dope. I knew that she would be an active participant in my show, and it wouldn’t be like pulling teeth to get her to answer questions. She trusts me enough to ask me questions and ask them respectfully. Anyone who follows her on Twitter knows—she’s one of the smartest, wittiest people. I wanted the first show to feature somebody that I like, respect and will have me laughing on stage.”
