Jay Rock, the west-coast emcee, has been cleared as the lead suspect of a drive by shooting in his own neighborhood of Watts, California. Better known to the government as Johnnie McKenzi, was arrested on Wednesday (April 29th) as the primary suspect for the shooting, and even though he was cleared as the prime suspect, he was held for outstanding warrants. Jay Rock’s major label debut, Follow Me Home, is due out this fall through Warner Bros.
