Common Stars In New Terminator Movie, Prepares Ninth Album

Already staring in American Gangster, Wanted and Smokin Aces, Common is continuing his acting career with a role in the new installment in the Terminator series called Salvation. Although the film isn't hitting the world till May 22nd, 2009, buzz is already started when a teaser trailer hit the internet [watch here] yesterday. Currently in New Mexico filming for the movie, Common is also finishing up his ninth album called Invincible Summer. "I feel more free now that I'm doing more movies and stuff, to just put out music that I love and I believe in and get it out there," stated Common about his music.
The new album, due out in September, will be produced by Mr. DJ and hit making duo, The Neptunes. In related news, Common recently performed "Gladiator" live [watch here].
