According to the Associated Press, the company founded by Jacob The
Jeweler has filed a lawsuit against Wyclef Jean for unpaid bills for
watches and jewelry he bought. The lawsuit, filed yesterday, says that
Wyclef Jean bought several pieces of jewelry between 2002 and 2006 for
a total of $765,100.
In related news, Jacob The Jeweler, known as Jacob Arabov to the
government, was recently sentenced to 2 1/2 years in federal prison for
lying to investigators of a multistate drug ring.
