Sean Garrett finally made a decision between Lil Wayne and Jay-Z. To some this would be the ultimate split decision two of the games best both wanting you to be on their label. Well unfortunitally Sean Garrett made the wrong choice and went with old ass Jay-Z and his new label Roc Nation.
While rumors have been spreading wild earlier this month that Sean Garrett signed with Young Money it is now official he has not. “I feel like I’m forever indebted to [Lil] Wayne, ’cause was the first…Wayne put me on tour with him, and Wayne put me in so many positions [to grow],” Sean Garrett told Angela Yeeon her radio show.
“I fucks with Young Money/Cash Money, I’m proud of them. But I’m a businessman, and sometimes you’ve got to do what’s best for the future. Me and Cash Money are always gonna be available to each other. I love and respect them. [Jay-Z], that’s my man! I look up to him, and he gave me an opportunity.”
Sean Garrett is now working on his sophomore album, Courtesy of Derrick G, now due on Roc Nation/Columbia Records. As well he just released his official Mixtape “The Inkwell” on August 24, 2010.
