Rapper Dee-1, most notoriously known for his 2010 song “Jay, 50, Weezy”, has just inked a deal with RCA Records.
“Signing with RCA is a life-changing partnership that I’m excited to be a part of,” Dee-1 says in a press release. “I know we’re about to make history together so I’m motivated to work harder than ever. Coming from New Orleans, I realize that my success is bigger than me. It’s a symbol of hope for others who want to chase their dreams and make a difference in life. So I’m going to make sure that together we all win. #MissionVision.”
Dee-1 is set to release the follow up to his mixtape “Psalms of David” next month.
