"As the hosts of the Party, Kanye West and G.O.O.D. Music also owed the guest of the Party a duty to maintain the Party premises in a reasonably safe condition," the suit reads. "While at the Party, shortly after midnight at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2005, Mr. Knight was in a VIP room at The Shore Club, where he was shot in the upper right leg. Mr Knight did nothing to provoke the shooting, and he is unaware of who shot him and why he was shot."
In addition to saying that Kanye is responsible, Suge says that an employee of West that night found the earring (which he says is worth $135,000) and kept it. Suge isn't done though, he also wants Kanye to pay for his attorney fees. No date has been set for the trial.
