Hip Hop slash Rap dominated the list of the top selling releases through iTunes this year. The list, which was released earlier today, shows the Black Eyed Peas had the number one selling song with "Boom Boom Pow" while Flo Rida's "Right Round" came in second. Other rappers on the list include T.I., Soulja Boy's "Kiss Me Thru The Phone," Kanye West's "Heartless" and KiD Cudi's "Day N Nite."

As far as albums, Jay-Z scored the highest rank (#8) for top selling hip hop albums for the year with his "Blueprint 3" while Eminem's "Relapse" and the Black Eyed Pea's "The E.N.D." came in 9th and 10th respectively. For the entire hip-hop/rap category, Raekwon's new "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…Pt. II" took home the best album of the year while Jay’s "Empire State of Mind" was picked for best single, plus even though he doesn't have a debut album out yet, the best new artist honors went to Young Money's rookie Drake.
