(San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA) – October 29th 2003 – Elektra Records, IPSH, and UrbanWorld Wireless (UWW) announced a partnership today to create one of the largest mobile advertising and marketing platforms to the urban music community. The program will essentially connect U.S. record labels with UrbanWorld Wireless subscribers using IPSH mobile marketing technologies such as Mobile IVRs and IPSH p2p tools.

IPSH has developed a reputation in the mobile market for developing proprietary technology tools for some of the most sought after clients including Madonna, Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Britney Spears, HBO, and Disney.

UrbanWorld Wireless is steady becoming the home to the largest urban youth mobile community. The IPSH partnership a win-win for both sides.

“We are extremely pleased to enter into this agreement with IPSH. Our combined technology will make us a leader in this market. We look forward to a long and successful relationship with IPSH and are dedicated to providing them with our full support,” says Mike Johns, CEO of UrbanWorld Wireless.

“IPSH is excited about working with UWW in what we hope will be a long-term partnership of connecting brands and artists to their mobile audiences across the country,” says IPSH President, Nihal Mehta.

The cross-promotion campaign will launch with recording artists Fabolous (Elektra Records). Other labels that have benefited from this platform include

Priority Records who launched a nation-wide campaign for rap artist Chingy’s latest album” Jackpot.” The partner mobile platform will deliver promotions and samples to opt-in audiences that can then forward the promotions onto their friends via mobile devices.

“Elektra’s IPSH partnership has allowed us to reach out to audiences like UWW in new and innovative ways. IPSH tools provide an added benefit of tracking the buzz for our artists via mobile devices,” says Camille Hackney, VP of Elektra Records.

IPSH and UWW will also be launching a service known as “Party Alertz” strictly designed for NBA All-Star Weekend. With “Party Alertz”, club goers can register for the service at www.urbanworldwireless.com or www.IPSH.com and receive information on parties, special events, and promotions taking place in their respective city.

The service also transforms mobile devices into VIP cards with the ability for subscribers to present special text codes to nightclubs in order to receive discounts and privileged treatment.
