A Louisiana judge ruled that rapper Corey "C-Murder" Miller, brother of No Limit founder Master P, will not be able to conduct interviews to promote his new album while under house arrest. Miller is awaiting retrial for murder charges stemming from a 2002 incident outside a New Orleans nightclub. According to the Times-Picayune, State District Judge Martha Sassone granted Miller the right to take part in photo shoots from his home, but explained that any contact with the press would violate a gag order imposed to keep pre-trial publicity to a minimum. The rapper was convicted in the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy, but was granted a retrial after Judge Sassone affirmed prosecutors withheld criminal background information of witnesses who testified against Miller.
