Los Angeles, CA (February 17, 2004) – It was a night of glam and glitz at the Alize House of Passion on Friday night as heavy hitters from the music, entertainment and sport industry came together to celebrate the arrivals of the NBA All-star game to Los Angeles with high predictions on a win for the West.
Penny Marshall, Seth Green, Rick Fox, 50 Cent, Derek Fisher, Luke Walton, Lil’ Fizz, Raz-B and J Boog of the now-defunct B2K; Laila Ali, Tom Arnold, Kenny Lofton, Nick Cannon, Chris Robinson, Star Jones, Steve Francis, Miss Kentucky (Elizabeth Arnold), Sam Cassell, Tim Duncan, Eddie George, Jermaine O’Neal, Richard Jefferson, Lennox Lewis, Terrell Davis, Mark Cuban, Malinda Williams, Sam Cassell, Tracy McGrady, Ray Allen and, of course, Hugh Hefner and a bevy of bunnies attended the shin-dig.
“This is the NBA All-Star Weekend, and it’s a very special time and party,” said Hefner, who was holding court in a blood red-colored makeshift area adjacent to his famous Grotto. “And I’m glad all these people are here tonight. A lot of people have never been here, and the reason why we have good parties here is that people come to have good parties.”
SLG Event Marketing, the producers of the event created a unique atmosphere for the party goers which included a magnificent display of the latest collection of Ferraris (VIP’s were shuttled to and from the Mansion in the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo with Giovanni Custom Rims), while Jacob the Jeweler displayed his latest line of diamond watches to the likes of Star Jones and Shaquille O’Neal. Alize and VitaminWater were free-flowing all night which kept guests pleased and refreshed.
