The Real Rick Ross Wants His Name Back
Former drug "kingpin" Ricky "Freeway" Ross wants his name back and is filing a lawsuit against rapper Rick Ross for using it. According to multiple reports, the real Rick Ross has been trying to stop rapper Rick Ross from using his name for over four years. Now the ex-convict has filed a lawsuit and sent a cease-and-desist letters to executives at music label Def Jam to protest "the exploitation and misuse of his name". He maintains he received no response from music bosses and claims the star went on to profit from the moniker "without his consent".
