    It's confirmed. Mr. Miami, the boss himself, Rick Ross was a correctional officer for 18 months in Florida. TheSmokingGun.com has released records provided by DOC Spokesman Jo Ellyn Ryckleff that showed William Roberts (Rick Ross' real name) included his social security number and personal information. Even more information was provided including details from his graduation from training and his later assignment to the South Florida Reception Center in Dade County. Rick Ross reportedly left the job in 1997 when he had a salary of $25,794.34 a year.

    As we previously reported, this all started with a photo surfaced [see here] that looked like a young Rick Ross in a correctional uniform. Ross immediately denied the rumors in a video [watch here] saying “No, that’s not true.”
