Rick Ross Discusses MMG Documentary

Posted By on September 12, 2013

The whole MMG squad stopped by Power 105.1 in New York to discuss the upcoming compilation “Self Made 3”.

MMG leader Rick Ross touched on the album and the significance of it:

“It just feels good to see this come to fruition,” Rick Ross said of Self Made 3 in an interview with New York radio station Power 105.1. “It was just an idea, just a couple of years ago. For all of us, it’s just a little alley-oop leading into our own solo projects, our own solo albums that we want to give our people. It’s just fun to get together.”

“We believe in putting out that work,” Ross said. “That’s what keeps us at the top of this game. Compilations, for artists like ourselves, is always a good thing. When you hear these records and you hear the new artists we bringin’ to the folds, the new producers, all the different sounds, and it just give everybody a chance to shine in their own light. I love it.”

Ross also went on to discuss a MMG documentary that is set to be released:

“We actually been filming it for over a year now,” Rick Ross said. “But when we come with it, it’s something that I want to be real dope, as well as get the approval from all the homies when it come to they particular sections. So we always just document what we doin’. It’s all good.”
