Rick Ross recently expanded on the idea behind his latest album “Mastermind” which is set to drop December 17th.
Ross states that his album is a perfect combination of hist for the streets, as well as a more soul music inspired side:
“To me, a mastermind is one who is on a path to accomplishing whatever it is he set out to accomplish,” The Maybach Music leader stated. “When you hit that mark and you hit it the way you wanted to hit it, you executed that properly.” When discussing the album, Rozay states that the album is going to be what the streets want and is composed of content from what he has recently experienced. “In the last year you know I seen some things, I been through somethings, so you going to feel that passion and that aggression. You know certain things that’s getting addressed in the records and I think the streets going to really love this,” Ross discloses. While Mastermind will feed the ear of the streets, it will also contain a soulful side to the album as Ross states “the soulful side of, you know, the album I’m putting final touches on a particular record that I’m hoping to get Bobby Womack on.” (Karen Civil TV)
