Donald Trump says
that Rihanna stood him up. According to reports, Trump recently hired Rhianna
(for as much as $500,000 according to some reports) to perform at a Dana-Farber Cancer Institute fundraiser in Florida on Saturday but she canceled at the last minute claiming that she
was ill. Nothing more was thought of the situation until Rihanna performed the
Grammy Awards less than 24-hours later. “I thought that (Rihanna bailing) was
insulting to everyone,” Trump told the Palm Beach Post. "But for Rihanna
to go to the (NBA) All-Star game and perform after she told us she was sick,
that is just a lack of respect."
Trump reportedly
got Jennifer Hudson to fill in for Rihanna on short notice. “Nothing was
missed. Jennifer’s a beautiful girl. She came on her day off even though she
performs almost every night," Trump said. "She is an unbelievable
talent, and her voice is better."
