Rihanna Cancels Shows; Travie McCoy Steps In

It looks like fans of Rihanna are going to be a little upset, at least in the Washington area. The July 2nd (Friday) show has been canceled due to "production changes." This will change her schedule so that the "Earth Tour will now kick off the 4th Of July in Vancouver (not to mention her show in Phoenix [July 22nd] and Dallas [July 24th]} and refunds will be given for the show in Auburn.
Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, who was set to be one of the opening acts, has to go back to work on her debut album so Travie McCoy wll take Nicki's spot. Ke$sha, calling it a "bummer," told MTV about her planned outfit for the show. "I want to wear a lot of laser beams," adding ""It definitely is going to have, like, a dance-party vibe," she explained. "I just want it to be really, really fun. Let's just say I can't disclose, but I have, like, a really, really awesome thing that's going to happen ... and you can only understand it if you see it in person."
