Rihanna, Eminem, Diddy and Usher were among the performers and winners at last nights American Music Awards annual ceremony. With hip hop almost not present at the awards, pop star Justin Bieber did almost steal the night.
Justin Bieber was named artist of the year at the 38th annual American Music Awards Sunday at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The 16-year-old teen heartthrob won over Eminem, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry for the show's top honor. Bieber won four statues -- for every category in which he was nominated. His other wins were for favorite pop-rock album for My World 2.0, breakthrough artist and favorite male pop artist. The winners are determined by fan votes. (Baltimore Sun)
