Joseph Simmons Jr., the son of Run-DMC's Reverend Run, just plead guilty to one charge of disorderly conduct in New York after being caught last May for marijuana possession. As part of his plea deal, the nine-teen year-old had his possession charge dropped and he will have to serve only one day of community service.
In related news, Run-DMC will soon have a street in New York named after them. Earlier this month, a Ne York City Council passed a bill that would rename the 205th Street and Hollis Avenue corner to "Run-DMC JMJ Way" to honor the legendary hip-hop trio for their accomplishments in the music industry.
