Actor Paul Walker, known for his numerous lead roles in the “Fast & the Furious franchise, has died at the age of 40 after a fatal car accident over the weekend in California.
Details of the awful accident that accord on Saturday (November 30) have started to spread across the internet.
“Actor Paul Walker, who gained fame as an undercover detective in the hugely successful “The Fast and the Furious” franchise, was killed Saturday in a car accident in Valencia, his representatives confirmed. The single vehicle crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. in the 28300 block of Rye Canyon Loop. Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s station and the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived to find a vehicle engulfed in flames. Two people in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.” (Los Angeles Times)
According to reports, Walker in town for a charity event.
“Walker was in Santa Clarita, about 30 miles north of Los Angeles, for a charity event to benefit his organization Reach Out Worldwide when the fatal accident occurred. He entered showbiz when he was just a toddler, and his career took off when he landed a supporting role in 1999’s “Varsity Blues.” Walker is best known for his role in “The Fast and the Furious” franchise, which is on its seventh film. He leaves behind a daughter, Meadow, 15.” (New York Daily News)
