Lil Wayne continues to be the top selling rapper on the sales charts landing at number 6 as he pushed just over another 62,000 copies to total 2.2 million total sales for his new album, Tha Carter III. The next rappers on the charts were Nas and Yung Berg. Berg debuted at number 18 with just over 20k sold of his Look What You Made Me album while Nas slipped one spot to 22nd place selling close to 19,000 copies of his Untitled album, putting him at a total of 335,000 for 10 weeks.
Other rappers on the charts included Plies and David Banner who were back to back on the charts at number 35 and 36. Plies got close to gold status with a total of 458,000 after selling another 11,562 copies. Three 6 Mafia fell to number 48 and have a 2 month total of just over 200,000 copies. G-Unit continues to fall down the charts as they landed the 77th spot, only selling another 6,500 copies.
