Album Sales Charts – Week Ending 1/3
Lil Wayne had his Young Money team's "We Are Young Money" album sell another fourty -three thousand copies while Eminem's "Relapse" was right behind the group with 41,000 sold. The Black Eyed Peas are close to 1.8 million albums sold while Jigga passed the 1.5 million mark. Gucci Mane's "The State Vs Radric Davis" album moved up six spots to 33rd after 18 thousand sold, 50 Cent moved 15,000 and Snoop Dogg's "Malice In Wonderland" landed at 49th with 14k more copies scanned. Finishing up this week is freshman rapper Wale who stayed in the tiop 200 with 3,700 albums sold putting his total to 64,000 so far.
On the R&B tip, Alicia Keys had her new "Element Of Freedom" continue to sell landing at number three this week with just over seventy-thousand copies sold while Mary J Blige's "Stronger With Each Year" project slipped to 4th on the charts after close to sixty-two-thousand units were scanned.
