Album Sales Charts – Week Ending 1/24

     This weeks top selling album is the "Hope For Haiti" project which features songs by various artists. The relief album debuted at number one with just under a hundred and seventy-four thousand copies.

     The Black Eyed Peas are this week's top hip hop slash rap act (can we call them that?) as their "E.N.D." album moved up one spot on the charts landing at 8th with just over thirty-five thousand copies sold. Young Money's new project continues to sell while Jay-Z's "Blueprint 3"  (1.563 so far) but stays under Eminem's running total of 1.791 million for "Relapse/Refill."

     On R&B tip Alicia Keys new "Element Of Freedom" lost one spot with it's week sales dropping 12% plus Mary J Blige had her "Stronger" album dropped 16% for th eweek with only twenty-eight thousand copies sold.

     Other Notable Albums: Trey Songz – "Ready" (#38-11,347), Snoop Dogg – "Malice N Wonderland" (#49-9,235). 50 Cent – "Before I Self Destruct" (#70-6,800).
