On the R&B tip, Beyonce's "I Am… Sasha Fierce" album keeps her number 2 spot on the charts while Keyshia Cole gains 2 slots landing at number 9 with another 30,569 copies sold. Jamie Foxx also keeps his spot (8) as his "Intuition" pushes 30k plus Mariah Carey racks up another top 10 debut (barley) with 26,932 copies of "Ballads" sold in the first week. Akon drops 3 spots to 15, Rihanna loses one spot to 21 and Ne-Yo moves up 4 spots to 26 with another 14,424 copies sold of his "Year Of The Gentleman" album.
Kanye West is this weeks top selling rapper as his "808s & Heartbreak" album sold just under another 36,000 copies just beating the "Notorious" soundtrack with its 33,875 copies sold. T.I. moves up two spots to 14 and Lil Wayne stays on the charts landing at 24th with close to another 15 thousand more copies sold of "Tha Carter III."
