Album Sales Chart – Week Ending 3/1
Landing in 10th spot, Kanye West once again is the top selling rapper this week as his "808s & Heartbreak" album sells just shy of 27 thousand copies while T.I. keeps his 12th slot moving another twenty-five thousand units. Lil Wayne keeps his spot at 32 as "Tha Carter III" continues to sell 15 thousand a week plus Joe Budden new "Padded Room" album debuts with 15,290 copies sold in the first week.
On the R&B tip, Beyonce continues to rule the charts as her "I Am… Sasha Fierce" album only loses one spot landing at 6th with more than another thirty-six thousand copies while Jamie Foxx's "Intuition" manages to move just under 32,000 units. Ne-Yo gains 4 spots to 26th with close to 18K sold while Akon sells 17,179 more copies of his "Freedom" album.
