Album Sales Charts – Week Ending April 3rd
With a new album from Britney Spears topping the charts this week, new rapper Wiz Khalifa had his debut "Rolling Papers" album land a very respectable number 2 with close to two-hundred-thousand copies sold in it's first week. Chris Brown's "F.A.M.E." lost three spots (down to 4th) while Snoop Dogg's new "Dogguentary" snagged the 8-spot with a debut sales week of just under fifty-thousand units scanned.
Backed by her Rolling Stone cover, Rihanna gained one spot to 14th (despite selling 7% less than last week) while Lupe Fiasco's "Lasers" lost power (and 5 positions) landing at number 19. Young Money's first lady Nicki Minaj drops one spot to 20th, Eminem "Recovers" one spot (landing in the 26th slot) plus the Bay Area ambassador E-40 had his duel albums debut in 45th with just under twelve-thousand albums sold.
