Album Sales Charts – Week Ending April 24th
Chris Brown over takes freshman rapper Wiz Khalifa as the top of our charts this week as his new "F.A.M.E." album sells 9% more than last week despite losing one spot (landing at 9th). Wiz Khalifa drops from 7th to 12th while Rihanna gains two spots, backed by 33% more units scanned than last week.
Eminem's "Recovery" album sold 20% more than last week but still dropped three spots (to 35th) while Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday" debut also bested last week (+25%) but again, dropped seven spots to 37th. Backed by a 28% sales boost, The Black Eyed Peas moved up three spots to 39th while Lupe Fiasco lost ten spots (43) with a 7% drop.
