Album Sales Chart - Week Ending 7/11

    Lil Wayne continues to dominate the sales charts, as he gets close to going double platinum. Last week he sold another 124,000 copies of his album, Tha Carter III, putting him at just over 1.8 million copies. G-Unit dropped 5 places to number 9 with just over 36,000 copies of their Terminate On Sight album sold. Three 6 Mafia went from 11th to 18th place after they pushed another 24,000 copies of their album Last 2 Walk.

    Plies moved another 24,000 copies of his second album, Definition Of Real, to make his total around 380,000 so far. After debuting number one on the indi charts, Tech N9ne sold another 13,000 copies to put him right at the 50,000 total sales for his new album Killer. Other notable artists on the charts this week include Killer Mike (selling 3,500 copies), Rihanna (landing at number 6 selling another 50k+ copies), Usher (selling another 33,000 copies of Here I Stand) and Rick Ross who sold another 10,000 copies of his Trilla album.
