Posted By on July 30, 2008

With teen sensation Miley Cyrus debuting her album this week and really no hip-hop albums coming out, rappers and their albums were pushed down a little on this weeks sales charts. Lil Wayne holds the top spot for rappers (#5) selling another 85,000 copies of his Tha Carter III album and putting him close to double platinum (1,997,218). Nas went from the #1 spot down to #8 selling another 61,447 copies of his Untitled album while Plies closes in on the Gold status (417,983) selling another 16,618 copies of his album.

G-Unit's 2nd album, Terminate On Sight, sold close to another 14,000 copies leaving them at only 173,250 total sales after 4 weeks on the charts. David Banner went from #8 to #24 moving another 18,445 copies of his album, The Greatest Story Ever Told while Usher stayed in the top 20, selling just over 23,000 copies of his Here I Stand album.
