Album Sales Charts – Week Ending September 11th
Lil Wayne officially goes platinum (in less than two weeks) by selling more than 200,000 copies of his "Carter IV" album while Jay-Z and Kanye's "Watch The Throne" album drops 40% in sales from last week. Beyonce follows in her husbands footsteps, dropping 40% and landing in 9th while Bad Meets Evil jumps up the charts to 17th.
Game's new "R.E.D. Album" drops eleven spots after selling 50% less than last week, Pitbull jumps WAY up the charts after a 46% boost in sales and Rihanna's "Loud" album gains three spots to 40th. Nicki Minaj has her "Pink Friday" project drop all the way down to 46th while Kelly Rowland gains a spot with another 8 thousand copies sold.
