Young Jeezy takes the top rap position on this weeks sales charts as he sold just under another 84,000 copies of his "Recession" to land in the 2nd spot (behind rockers Metallica). The Game dropped 3 spots to number 6 with close to another 48,000 copies sold of "L.A.X." while Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III" moved up 3 spots to number 7 (47,633 copies sold).
LL Cool J's new album "Exit 13" debuted at number 9 selling just under 44,000 copies while the T-Dot rapper, and Akon artist, Kardinal Offishall debuted way down at number 41, only selling 11,567 copies of his appropriately titled "Not 4 Sale" album.
On the R&B side of sales, Rihanna moved up 1 spot to number 12 after pushing just over 35,000 copies of her "Good Girl Gone Bad" album. Chris Brown got back on the charts this week, landing at number 43 with another 10,400 copies sold of his "Exclusive" album.
