Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy hold the only two rap spots in top 10 for this week’s sales chart. Jeezy edged out Lil Wayne after selling just under 39,000 copies of his "Recession" putting him at 450,000 total after just four weeks. Lil Wayne continues to do well as he sold close to another 35,000 copies, putting the 4 month total sales of his "Tha Carter III" at over 2.4 million.
On the R&B side of things, Ne-Yo dropped two spots to number 4 this week after selling just over 80,000 copies of his new album, "Year of the Gentleman" while Rihanna continues to do well holding number 14 rank with 27.5k sold this week.
We didn't forget about Nelly, although it seems consumers have. The St. Louis rapper dropped from number 3 to number 20 after only selling just over 22,000 copies of his new album "Brass Knuckles." After 2 weeks and sales dropping 72% in the 2nd week, Nelly has only sold a little over 100,000 copies.
