Jay-Z gained one spot to number five this week with another 64,224 units of "The Blueprint 3" sold to become this weeks top selling rapper. The Black Eyed Peas kept their spot on this weeks charts pushing another 25 thousand copies while Drake lost 12 spots all the way down to 30th as his "So Far Gone" re-released mixtape moved just under twenty thousand copies while KiD CuDi's "Man On The Moon" dropped to 48th.
On the R&B tip, Mariah Carey dropped three spots to 6th this week as her "Memoirs Of An Inperfect Angel" album sold just under fifty-four thousand copies while Maxwell's "Blacksummersnight" moved another 14,001 albums and finally Trey Songz was "Ready" to sell 14,514 copies.
In related news, Fat Joe's ninth solo album, "J.O.S.E. 2,"
landed at the no. 73 spot in his first week with less than 9,000 copies
sold. The LP had horrible first-week sales despite features appearances
by Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Akon, Lil Kim, Raekwon, Swizz Beatz, Ron Browz, and Pleasure P among others.
