Album Sales Chart – Week Ending 6/8

    Although Usher sold another 144,500 copies of his album Here I Stand, he moved from the number one spot to number 3 (Disturbed and the 'Now Thats What I Call Music' series were at #1 and #2). Ashanti's Declaration debuted at number 6 selling 86,200 copies while Chris Brown's Exclusive jumped up the charts from $56 to #10 selling another 36,000 copies. R&B Queen Mariah Carey sold another 30,100 copies of her E=MC2 moving from #8 to #13, only needing 3,000 more copies to go platinum. UGK member Bun B finished up the top 5 with his II Trilla selling 23,900 copies. As we previously reported although Lil Wayne's album didn't officially come out till the next week, it somehow sold 4,000 copies on last weeks charts.

    Other big name artists on this week charts include Rick Ross who sold another 13,296 copies of his Trilla album, which is now certified gold. Pimp C's Greatest Hits debuted selling 2,729 copies and fellow Texas rapper Lil Will hit the charts selling 1,146 copies of Dollas TX the first week.
