The third time's a charm... At least that is what Slim Thug hopes. With two albums under his belt ('Already Platinum' in 2005 and 'Boss of All Bosses' last year) the Texas rapper hopes to give fans just the right amount of mainstream and hometown feeling.
"My first album was kind of mainstream with all the Pharrell stuff, but the people of Houston felt like they didn't get enough of the old Slim Thug. And then on Boss of All Bosses, I gave them nothing but H-Town. [Laughs.] But on this one, I wanted to give them half and half, and I think I did a good job of mixing it up." (MTV)
The new album will feature collaborations with artists like B.o.B, Yo Gotti, Nipsey Hussle, Big K.R.I.T. and Rick Ross, who he argued using the term "boss" with.
