Snoop Dogg recently previewed his upcoming "Doggumentary" album at Capitol Records studios in Hollywood. Before hitting "play," Snoop looked at the crowd and said "I'm just trying to keep this Snoop thing popping." His 11th studio album features 21 tracks produced by Kanye West, Battlecat, Scott Storch, Lex Luger, David Banner and others with guest appearances from Kanye, T-Pain, Wiz Khalifa, R. Kelly, John Legend, E-40, Young Jeezy, Willie Nelson and Bootsy Collins. So where did the title come from? Snoop says while recording the album, he got a documentary feeling. "I thought, let's put the two G's there and make it more," he added," versus recreating a 'Doggystyle, Part 2.' It's just me doing me."
In related news, Snoop Dogg, and fellow west-coast rapper Game, put out a video for their "Purp & Yellow" track. In what seems to be the tenth "Black & Yellow" (remix) music video, the new visual features Game and Snoop rapping in-front of a band with cameos from Ron Artest & more
