Snoop's Wife Not Dead, Manager Clears Rumors

With rumors going around that Snoop Dogg's wife, Shante Broadus, was dead and spreading quickly, Snoop's manager stepped up to report that it's simply "rediculous." TMZ reported that an anonymous person tipped off the California Highway Patrol, who later put it on their website, saying that SNoop "has the dead body of his wife in his basement." The incident appeared as a "possible fatality" on the Web site.
Snoop Dogg married Shante back in June of 1997 but the two had been high school sweethearts. After seven years into the marriage, Snoop filed for divoce but the couple reconciled and renewed theirvows in 2008. "I thought I was the man, and I was willing to give up what I had at home for that," he says, "until I realized that what I had at home was irreplaceable. So I gave that up to go back home."
