Just days after saying that he created Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" track, one of the songs co-writers has responded to Soulja Boy with not only some tweets but a video proving he has the pro-tools sessions.
Following Soulja Boy's eyebrow-raising claim that he wrote Willow Smith's hit "Whip My Hair", one of the song's real writers, Ronald "Jukebox" Jackson--who's in the fold of Rodney Jerkins' Darkchild Records imprint--has taken aim at the "Pretty Boy Swag" rapper's boastful assertion. Listen to Jukebox's new response rap over the "Whip My Hair" track. Key line: "Now all these execs sayin' they wanna whip my hair / Soulja said he ghostwrote it 'cause that's right, he wasn't there." Also, stick around till the very end when Jukebox spits out "invisible boy swag". (Idolator)
"Not a diss guys. Just a minor correction/venting. lol. If u only knew how MANY ppl have claim 2 write that record!," he tweeted Wednesday (January 5).
"I curse alot cuz they are Sentence enhancers. .. Gets the point across better! lol"
"@iKissedSBeezy lol. Like i said, Venting on the fact that MANY ppl have said they "wrote" the record. Not just Soulja. I just mentioned him" (Juke Box's Twitter)
