T-Pain Sues The Makers Of Auto-Tune

Tuesday, 26 July 2011 |   Written by Jason   PDF Print E-mail Post a Comment
Once a huge supporter of the "Auto-Tune," T-Pain is now suing the company behind the music-effect software, Antares Technologies. Recently, T-Pain stopped using "Auto-Tune," ended his endorsement deal with Antares and created a company with a company Izotope to create his own "T-Pain Effect."

Yesterday (July 25th), the R&B singer filed a lawsuit claiming that the maker of "Auto-tune" is still using his image and likeness in their advertisements, packaging and marketing materials for their software. T-Pain also says that Antares even has licensed his name and image to other companies without his permission. The hit-singer is asking for at least $1 million dollars in damages.
