Kanye West, T-Pain, Akon, Rick Ross, Chingy and Yung Joc are just some of the artists that will be featured on the first compilation CD, "True To The Game" from Stadium Entertainment which hopes to combine music with social consciousness and philanthropy. With the CD hitting stores on October 21st, the project's first single will be "Beam Me Up" that features T-Pain, Rick Ross and T-Pain's Nappy Boy artist Tay Dizm. A percentage of the proceeds from the album will be donated to the Negro League Baseball Museum that will fund a $15 million dollar education and research center.
"This is a legal mixtape on steroids," Stadium Entertainment's Camille Barbone said of the album. "This record has a diverse flow with G-rated lyrics. Some of the songs were recorded especially for this project, and some had already been written. And we wanted to make it a win-win by pairing emerging acts and protégés with well-known acts."
