T-Pain Is Song Writer Of The Year

Last night at the BMI Urban Awards, the hook-king T-Pain took home the "Songwriter Of The Year along with "Producer Of The Year" awards (T-Pain shared the "Producer" award with J.R. Rotem and Kanye West). T-Pain, known for writing records like “Buy U a Drank,” “Low” with Flo Rida “Bartender,” “Kiss Kiss” with Chris Brown and the Grammy-winning song “Good Life” with Kanye, is an accomplished writer.
In related news, T-Pain's new album "Thr33 Ringz" is scheduled to hit stores this fall. Standing in his own confidence, T-Pain told sohh “I got the most number 1s,” he said. “I’m not just saying that. It’s really on the charts. I got 11 number ones [in one year]. In the history of time, The Beatles got 13. So if I woulda got two more in that year I woulda beat The Beatles. That’s why I’m the ringleader.”
