The hook-master T-Pain is adding another thing to his resume, a digital music label. R&B singer T-Pain is launching his own digital music label called Nappy Boy Digital. Currently signed to Akon's Konvict Music, the new digital label will allow him to release his music to fans via music download sites. "Nappy Boy Digital is a dream come true for me," T-Pain said in a statement. "I'm excited about bringing music by new artists to people fresh out of the studio."
"My life and career so far has been about breaking barriers and this label allows me to continue that by delivering hit songs in real time, no red tape, just good music," he continued. "I'm very proud to be out front on an idea like this." The first artist to be released on his new digital label is Tay Dizm. His single "Beam Me Up" features T-Pain and hip-hop heavyweight Rick Ross. The track is already available as an iTunes exclusively and will be released on the radio on June 16th.
