T.I. is not only requesting additional time before he reports to serve his prison time, but wants to be placed in a closer and safer facility near his Georgia home. On Thursday (May 21st), TIP asked a court to let him remain free while he seeks placement in a minimum-security prison closer to his Atlanta home. Claiming officials miscalculated his criminal history, as a report says T.I. has a "serious history of violence." T.I. was scheduled to report by noon Tuesday to the Federal Correction Institution at Forrest City, Arkansas.

In related news, former Grand Hustle artist Alfamega had his manager recently talk about T.I. kicking him off the label for being a government informant and mainly about his recent "police brutality." Dexter Decks Spencer says "I just feel like people should have more compassion for what Alfa is going through as a human being first and foremost" he explained. "At this point, Alfa has been a victim of police brutality and social injustice"
