George Zimmerman Says He Accepts The Game’s Boxing Challenge

Posted By on February 1, 2014

Former neighborhood watch guard George Zimmerman agreed to a celebrity boxing match and The Game is set on getting in the ring with Zimmerman. Now, reports claim George is definitely up for his challenge.

According to the celebrity promoter that is getting the fight together, Zimmerman has been training hard for the big match and says George thinks Game is the perfect opponent.

But according to Damon Feldman, the promoter of the event who has 55 celebrity boxing matches under his belt via his Celebrity Boxing Federation (CBF), George Zimmerman believes Game is the best opponent. “He [George Zimmerman] is open to any challengers that make sense, but he is training hard and he said ‘Game is the perfect opponent,'” Damon Feldman told AllHipHop.com in an exclusive interview. Damon recently explained how he rejected Game’s offer at first, revealed George was ready to go up against Rapper DMX.

The Game just came on TMZ Live and formally accepted the challenge to fight George Zimmerman in the ring … but the promoter hedged, saying although Game is a front-runner, there are more than 4,700 others who want a piece of Zimmerman. The Game scoffed at promoter Damon Feldman, who said Zimmerman would be a tough opponent because he’s been heavy into boxing training. Game — who’s 6’5″ and 240 lbs — predicts a quick knockout. Damon says Zimmerman has agreed to fight DMX … and he says he’ll make a decision in a few days for the March 1 fight. (TMZ)
