T.I. Breaks Silence: Talks Being In Prison

Posted By on April 2, 2010

T.I. recently sat down to open up about his time behind bars and his upcoming new solo album calling it more "aggressive" than his 2008 "Paper Trail" lp. Without a title yet, T.I. says the album will be more like "classic" TIP than anything. "I'm happy to be home," T.I. said in a video. "I learned a lot, grew a lot and now I think it's time to put all that to good use. I didn't write too much, people might thought I was doing a lot of writing but I didn't write that much, you know. I didn't get a lot of time to. It was a lot of activity around me so I wasn't really motivated to create. I just want to continue to maintain the level of success I've been fortunate to do over and over again over the years. Well, this album is different in many ways. I think that Paper Trail was a lot more about thoughts and this is more about feelings. And this is significantly more aggressive, at this point in the production. Who knows, I could do ten love songs tomorrow and change the direction but as of right now, it's going hard. It's going hard like classic T.I."
