Posted By on December 1, 2008

T.I. gave back to his community this Thanksgiving. TIP and his Grand Hustle crew handed out in Atlanta's biggest Thanksgiving dinner at Turner Field this past Thursday [watch here]. "I just wanted to come and show my support" T.I. said during a speach at the event [watch here].

T.I. wasn't done there, the Atlanta rapper also raised approximately a $100,000 within two hours at a local radio station the night before his Thanksgiving event. Fellow southern rapper Young Jeezy pitched in by donating $5,000 to the cause. “It’s a pleasure for me to help service those who are definitely in need of the service,” T.I. said. The event was organized by a group called Hosea Feed The Hungry and Homeless. Ironically, Hosea Thomas was recently convicted of killing T.I.'s assistant and friend Philant Johnson.
