Rappers Lupe Fiasco and T.I. will be rocking shows for their respective hometown fans today (November 13) courtesy of the new Microsoft Zune.
Lupe will make an appearance on Chicago's 401 Michigan Ave. at 4:30 pm, while T.I. will grace Atlanta's Underground at 3:30 pm. Other Zune launch parties are also taking place in Miami (with Richie Spice and Morgan Heritage performing), New York (Queens of the Stone Age), Los Angeles (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Seattle (The Secret Machines).
Both rappers have been asked to perform for the launch of Microsoft's new media player, a device that stores music, audio, jpegs and video files that can be shared via a wireless connection. Zune players start at $249.99 (for a 30 GB player) and will be available tomorrow (November 14).
